CFC # 2 - April Showers.....

Hello everyone!  Hope everybody's week is going smoothly!  I wanted to pop in real quick, and share with all of you my second  submission to this week's CAS-ual Friday Challenge.  I got inspired today by seeing one of my very first cards I ever made!!  I have an embossing folder that I haven't used in a VERY long time, and had  the idea today to use it on another submission.  As I mentioned in my first post - the "theme" is to made a CAS card inspired by trees or flowers since we are celebrating Spring time!  So - I got home - and I thought it would be pretty cool to do "color embossing" ( that is what I call it at least).

All of my inks are my much loved Memento Inks - Lulu Lavender, Dandelion, Summer Sky and Angel Pink.  To add a bit of color to my embossed flower, I took my Copic Markers G05, and FYG2.  I added a pink gem in the middle of the flower to finish it off.   It turned out so cool!!  I feel it represents Spring, don't you!!
