Happy Saturday everyone!  It is a long weekend here in the States - and I couldn't be happier about it!!  I am thankful to all the men and women who serve and make sacrifices everyday for my freedom!!  It doesn't go unnoticed!!

So - I have posted two tutorials over at my YouTube Channel - and forgot to post them here.  I am bad about that.  I really need to post more over at my blog - it gets a little neglected :(  I want to change that!!

Simple Hello Card with Video Tutorial

Hi everyone! Kari here once again to share with you my latest card tutorial.  I don't know about you, but I have lots and lots of pattern paper via my 6x6 paper pads.  I NEED to use them.  Lately, I really have not been using pattern papers, and not sure why I stopped, but I need to get back into using them up!  So, for today's card, that is what I am doing.  I have a video up on my YouTube Channel.  If you are not subscribed, I would love it if you would.  I will be having my 1000 subscriber giveaway soon once I hit this magic #, so I encourage you to subscribe!  Well, Lets get to the card, and video shall we!?

Hello ( no stamping ) + video

Hellllloooo :)  I wanted to pop in quickly to share with you my latest card tutorial.  No stamping was involved!  I need to use up some pattern papers that I have laying around with scraps that I have accumulated as well as some out of the SSS card kits that I get each month ( most of the time), so I've used some of the pattern papers from the Aug. kit from SSS, as well as a word die from Technique Tues.  If you are interested, I have the supplies that I used for this card linked below!!  Hope you are having a wonderful weekend!  See you all tomorrow!  A new Lawnscaping Challenge starts tomorrow :)

You're Pretty Amazing! ( video tutorial)

Hi everyone!! Today's card I wanted to dive into the over run collection I have of washi tape! I have a lot of rolls of this stuff, and sadly I don't use it nearly enough as I should, so I wanted to break some out and make a colorful card with it! I love to link to the exact rolls I used, but I bought these at Michael's - they are the Recollection brand, but you can use what ever patterns, and colors you have on hand for this very card! Of course too, I couldn't avoid using my oh so loved Femme Frames from Mama Elephant. Maybe that should be a crafty challenge within itself for me...I should try to make a card WITHOUT using these frames!! HAHA! Anyhoo! - I have the below on just how I made this card! Making a Card: Start to Finish ( SSS July 2014 Card Kit) + video!

Hello everyone, and happy Saturday!  If you are here today reading this, I appreciate you stopping by my blog!  I wanted to share with all of you quickly a card I put together pretty fast using the Simon Says Stamp July 2104 Card Kit.  It is a really great kit this month, and if you haven't picked it up yet, and you've been eyeing it, better grab it before its gone!  Better yet - just subscribe to the card kit every month, and it will be sent to you automatically!

Hello, Friend! (card share + video)

Hello everyone!!  Hope your weekend has been relaxing and filled with happy moments.
Today I am using some new products that I recently purchased, and I wanted to break them in.

I used a new Paper Smooches stamp set called Just a Note.  I also used various colors of Hero Arts Shadow Inks in Ultra Pink, Lemon Yellow, Dark Quartz, Mint Julip, and Corn Flower.  I stamped the crayons onto a piece of Bazzill Marshmallow white card stock that I ran through my Big Shot using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Journaling Card Die.  I also used dies from Mama Elephant's Femme Frames.  I used patterned papers from Amy Tangerine's Yes, Please 6x6 paper pad.
