Right At Home Ebook Launch + Video Tutorial

Hello!!  I am thrilled to be apart of Right At Home's E-book launch.  Nicole from Right At Home created a fun E-book to inspire projects using her newest stamps from her Winter Release.

Below I have a video introducing the E-book to you, and how you can purchase this for yourself.  Nicole has a fun online craft store, and recently she starting launching her own line of photo polymer stamps.  Recently she released her Winter release of stamps and each set is different and very versatile.

I also create a fun card using one of the projects she made for the e-book as inspiration.  The whole idea is to use this for inspiration, so if you don't have all of the products she used, that is totally fine! I, too didn't have everything she used, but you can tell how I took her design, and recreated it in my own style.

I think that little Ginger Bread Man from the Christmas Critters stamp set is too cute!
I also used the solid star and whimsical snow flake image to create a back ground onto my die cut panel!

Here is the link to purchase the E-book -

After you purchase the E-book - Nicole will send you a link to your email for you to download this book. ** There will not be a physical product being sent to you in the mail.**

Please enjoy this video as I take you through the E-book, and create this card above!

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

CAS-ual Friday - #71 Fall Fun

Hope all of you are having a good Monday - I won't even go into the Monday I am having - so I will digress and share with all of you my project for the latest CAS-ual Friday Challenge.  You can tell around my area that fall is here - the cooler temps, the turning of the leaves - my favorite time of the year.  So - it was fun to create this fall themed card!

I started out with a 4.25 square piece of Vintage Cream card stock from PTI - and used my Hero Arts Woodgrain background stamp to add texture to my card stock.  I stamped out some leaves from Stampin' Up cling set called "Gently Falling" - this is actually a two step stamp set - but I just used the outlined portion.  I stamped out all of my leaves onto pattern paper that I purchased from Michael's that is a 6 x 6 pad from AC.  I then "fussy cut" out all of the leaves.   I added some pretty Glitter tape from AC as well as some Perfect Pearls Mists for some shine and shimmer to my fall card.  My sentiment comes from a Lawn Fawn set called Many Thanks.  The stamp is actually one line - but I stamped it out into a two lined sentiment.  I punched that out with a Stampin Up punch - I forget the name of this punch ( sorry).

Here is a close up of the shimmer if you can see it.

Are the fall colors turning where you live????  It would be fun to capture that in pictures :)

CFC#61 - Let's Strip

Happy Sat. everyone!!  So happy it is the weekend - but like every weekend, it will go like the speed of light!!  So - I am taking advantage as much as I can and doing a little crafting today.  I'd like to share with you what I am submitting into the latest CAS-ual Friday Challenge.  Use strips of card stock, pattern paper, washi tape - what ever you can think of to create a clean and simple project.

I thought it would be fun to use strips of AC glitter tape to mimic the flash of a camera - so I first stamped my beloved Polaroid camera image from one of my favorite Lawn Fawn sets - Say Cheese

I stamped my camera onto on yummy chevron pattern paper from Amy Tangerine- Sketch Book line from AC.  My sentiment actually comes from the sticker element sheet from Simple Stories - Fab-U-lous.

To finish off - just added some faux stitching to tie everything together.  Pretty fun card.  Hope the girls at CAS-ual Fridays like it, too :)  Have a nice rest of the weekend everyone.  Do some crafting - or whatever makes YOU happy!!

See you soon!

Miss You!

Hi blog readers.  Sorry I have been sporadic with with my posts lately.  So much going on with life, that its hard to keep up sometimes. Today I wanted to pop in and share with you a card I made for a dear friend, and co-worker who is leaving and taking a new job.  I will miss my friend so much not being able to see her everyday - but I know this opportunity will benefit her in so many ways - so for that, I am happy for her!

Here is my card....

I used the new Summer Seasonal Distress Inks, and added some Dylusions Pure Sunshine ink spray and blended it all together on my Ranger craft sheet - and liberally sprayed some water onto the ink - and "mopped" it up with some watercolor paper.  I loved how this rainbow of colors turned out.  I used my Blossom punch from SU! to punch out my flower.  I used THIS punch, and some blue glitter tape from AC to add something extra to this long note card from HA.  I love these cards, because they come with envelopes!!  I added my sentiment using some Thickers, and finished it off with some faux stitching.

I believe my friend will love this card.  She was and still is so supportive with my card making.  I'm so happy to call her a dear friend!!
