Right At Home Ebook Launch + Video Tutorial

Hello!!  I am thrilled to be apart of Right At Home's E-book launch.  Nicole from Right At Home created a fun E-book to inspire projects using her newest stamps from her Winter Release.

Below I have a video introducing the E-book to you, and how you can purchase this for yourself.  Nicole has a fun online craft store, and recently she starting launching her own line of photo polymer stamps.  Recently she released her Winter release of stamps and each set is different and very versatile.

I also create a fun card using one of the projects she made for the e-book as inspiration.  The whole idea is to use this for inspiration, so if you don't have all of the products she used, that is totally fine! I, too didn't have everything she used, but you can tell how I took her design, and recreated it in my own style.

I think that little Ginger Bread Man from the Christmas Critters stamp set is too cute!
I also used the solid star and whimsical snow flake image to create a back ground onto my die cut panel!

Here is the link to purchase the E-book -

After you purchase the E-book - Nicole will send you a link to your email for you to download this book. ** There will not be a physical product being sent to you in the mail.**

Please enjoy this video as I take you through the E-book, and create this card above!

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

Holiday Card Series| Day 1| KWCardDesign

My my...its been a while since I last posted anything to my blog - my apologies!  Life just happens, ya know! You should be seeing more frequency over here - I am starting my Holiday Card Series for 2015!!

Today's card is using the Simon Says Stamp/Lawn Fawn exclusive stamp set Merry Christmouse.  Unfortunately, this set is sold out - it was only available during Simon Says Stamp Stamptember event - but I couldn't resist using this set for my first installment!!

I feel I kept it simple with the design - but I feel it turned out really cute too!!  I did a little of everything, stamping, coloring and die cutting.  I started out stamping the cute image of the mouse in the stocking onto a piece of white PTI Stampers Select White CS, and used MFT Hybrid Black Licorice ink.  I did some simply Copic coloring of my image.  All of the markers, and other supplies that I used for this card I listed/linked below the video tutorial.

Once I was happy with the coloring - I did some die cutting - I used the Small Stitched Rectangles Dies from LF as well as a Stitched  Circle die from SSS and I die cut from a piece of New Leaf CS from Papertrey ink.  I also die cut a scalloped rectangle from LF and die cut a piece of Schoolhouse Red CS from SSS.  For my green card stock piece, I wanted to add a bit of interest, so I used the cheese present image, and stamped it using Green Hills ink from Hero Arts and created a random pattern all over. Then I stamped my sentiment from the same stamp set using the same black ink as before.  I then placed foam adhesive on the back of my panel, and adhered it to my red scalloped piece.  I then adhered my circle piece, and for the final touch I added some clear wink of stella to add some shimmer.

Super cute to mass produce and it really wouldn't take long to crank out a few of these!!

Thanks for stopping by for Day 1!  Hope you come back for Day 2!!  See you then!

WCMD 2015 - Card Share!

Hi all! It is me once again, and I wanted to share with you one of the cards I've made today celebrating World CardMaking Day!  I've actually made two cards today, but the other is a birthday card for my mom, and I don't want that "published" yet as you probably would understand :)

I made this card using various supplies from various of my favorite stamp companies!  This card is serving many purposes - obviously for today's special day, but also I will share this on the Simon Says Stamp Blog for the celebration of WCMD.  I also wanted to send this card out to a special friend!!

I am obsessed with THIS Cover Up die from MFT!  It is so fun and versatile!  I wanted to add a big of texture to my frame, so I embossed it with a diagonal stripes embossing folder.  I also used THIS stamp set from Mama Elephant.  It is one of my favorite stamp sets ever!!  I also used the Friend Die that coordinates with the stamp set.  The pattern paper I used is also from MFT!  Love this mint color!  My fav!!  And, those adorable sunflowers..well they came from Gleeful Gardens from Lawn Fawn.  A lot of my favorite products were used making this card - but that's what its about - using your favorite products making cards you love!

Hope you've had a fantastic and fun day!!

Mini Stamp Haul + RAC ( Random Act of Kindness )

Hi everyone! I know its been a little while since I last posted.  Please forgive me!  I've had to concentrate on other things lately, and crafting has had to take a back seat for a little bit.  I wanted to share with you though a little stamp haul that I have, as well as a story of a Random Act of Kindness courtesy of my friends Vanessa Middleton and Christy Reuling.  They are the best friends a girl could ask for! I am blessed to have some great friends in my life that I've come to know through this hobby of card making...I love it for so many reasons!

Anyway - I wanted to share this with you! Have a great rest of the weekend!!

Rainbow Birthday Balloon Square Card

hello!!  I wanted to share with you a fun colorful card I made using the Birthday Balloons Stamp set as well as the Big Scripty Greetings stamp set from Simon Says Stamp.  I stamped all of my balloons using Lawn Fawn inks!  Absolutely LOVE these inks!!  They are great for beginner stampers as well!!

For my background I used the new MFT Balloon String BG stamp and inked it up using Hero Arts Wet Cement ink - I didn't want to use a black....I felt it would be too much for the background, and I really wanted to have the balloons stay the "star of the show" if you will!

Once all my stamping was complete, I adhered my panel that I die cut using the Stitched Square die from Lawn Fawn and placed that onto my 5 x 5 inch card base. To finish up my card, I added some Clear Wink of Stella brush pen!!

Here's a close up of all that beautiful shimmer!

Below is my video tutorial of how I put this card together!!
Thanks for stopping by!!
