Inspired By All The Little Things Challenge

Hi all!!

Today, I wanted to share the fact that I am submitting into a challenge for the first time in a LONNGG time!  I thought it would be nice to "get back to the roots" if you will of when I started card making and how I submitted to challenges quite often in the beginning.  I had gotten away from it, probably because LIFE happened..and then I was designing for a design team, or what ever the case may be and fell away from it.  Today though, I wanted to change that!  So, I am sharing this card and hopefully it will inspire some how!

With the next holiday right around the corner, it is all about Valentines Day, loving those most in our lives, whether it is a spouse, friend, or other family member.  I love THIS heart from Neat and Tangled, and currently colored this image as a "Speed Coloring" Tutorial.  I will also share the link for that below.  So, I didn't want that image to go to waste of course, so I used it, and this is the end result!!

I do love how it turned out, and I thought it was a perfect one to share in this challenge!  As promised, below is the video tutorial of me coloring this heart as well!

Thank you for taking the time to stop in today!!  Hope you are able to get some crafty time in!

Holiday Card Series 2016 | Card # 14 | Lawn Fawn

Hi all!! It's time for card #14 in my HCS, and today I am having a little fun by turning a non traditional holiday set into a christmas card!  I used the Sweet Smiles stamp set and turned the gumball machine into a bowl full of ornaments!

I've had this idea brewing for quite sometime, and I originally debuted my idea during the Daily Marker 30 Color Challenge.  It was a hit that I had requests to do a video tutorial!

So that is what I did today!

I did some quick copic coloring and added details to my ornaments and bowl, and fussy cut out my image.

For my background, I used the Stitches cover plate from Ellen Hutson, and some sea glass card stock from SSS.  I also used a pattern from the Fancy Pants Oh Deer 6x6 paper pad that came out last year.  I liked the pop of red against the sea glass card stock.

For my sentiment, I used the Have A Ball sentiment from the Sweet Smiles set as well as the Merry Messages, and masked off one of the sentiments to create a custom sentiment. For the rest of the details for this card, I invite you to watch the video tutorial below!  All supplies used are also listed below the video!  I will back soon for card #15 to wrap up this year Holiday Card Series!

See you then!

Holiday Card Series | Card #13 | Simon Says Stamp

Hello there!  Welcome to Card 13 in my HCS for 2016!  Today, I am using a stamp set that released last year with Simon Says Stamp that I didn't get to play with.  I also used the Crate Paper Bundled Up 6x6 pad also from last year!

Today's card is pretty simple, but I love the color scheme.  I love the embossed images to help add that extra "something" to the card

I used my MISTI tool to stamp out my trees as these are solid images, and I wanted to ensure that I got a good impression of these images.

For the inside of my card, I decided to emboss just like I did on the outside to complete the card design.  For full details of how I put this card together, I invite you to watch the video tutorial! All the supplies used are listed below!  See you soon!
