Lawn Fawn Haul + Mini Giveaway

Hi gang!!  It's been a while!!  I wanted to share what I picked up from the latest Lawn Fawn Fall/Winter Collection for 2016.  I didn't pick up a whole lot, but I did however pick up the items I wanted to most right now!!  If you'd like to see my full video on my haul, I have the video linked below!  If you've already seen my video, then you must be here to enter the giveaway!!  YAY!!

I wanted to share the love, and do a mini giveaway on the new set Cutie Pie and it's coordinating dies.  All you need to do is leave me a comment on this blog post telling me what you love most about the newest Lawn Fawn release. You will also need to be subscribed to my Youtube Channel as this is technically a giveaway for my subscribers on my channel.  It is just easier to put together giveaways through my blog :)

STAMP DESTASH TIME!

Craft Room Update 2016

Hi all - I just wanted to pop in quickly to say I am still here.  I am still working on my craft room renovation - it is coming along!!  We have had a few hiccups but what room redo doesn't?

We started painting yesterday, and I am loving my new color!!  So fresh, and bright.  It is 100 times better than the dark purple and old wall paper that was in there!!  It will be a great creating environment for sure!!

Here's a few photos from how it started to the point we are now :)

Until I get my room back in order - I have set up a little area where I can at least color.  That is what I did today!  I used newest goodies that I hauled  - I was itching to use my Bristol Smooth paper and my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers :)  

So - here's some of what I colored today  - 

I love this combo - the Zigs and the Bristol together!  I can see why it is so popular with card makers!!  Well, that is it from me today - I will have a new update soon!!  Thanks for sticking with me!!

Small Craft Haul | June 2016 + updates

Hey everyone!!  Once again I find myself apologizing for the lack of posts on my blog, but I have a good excuse! :)  Life with work has been so busy, and I recently started doing some renovation to my craft room - A total over haul!  I usually only get to change maybe furniture pieces or what have you, but we are finally redoing my entire room from tearing out the old carpet and putting down a new floor, putting up dry wall to cover up paneling, and I won't have to look at dark purple walls anymore!!  I've been wanting to do this for a LOONNGG time, and finally get to start to create a creative home I am happy with!!  

I also wanted to share with you a few things I've purchased recently.  If you like hauls, then I hope you enjoy this one as well.  It is small - but I think I picked up some fun things!!

Thank you for being patient while I do this transition!  I hope to be back blogging regularly soon!!

You Flamin-go Girl!

Hello everyone!  Sorry for the MIA status here on my blog!  I neglect it - and I need to pay more attention!  HA!  If you are reading this, I appreciate you stopping in to see my latest card I've made.  Usually I have a video tutorial on this one, but for today, I do not.  Maybe I will later on, but I knew this card would take me a while to make.  I had a vision in my head, but didn't know for sure how it would turn out.  I think for the most part, it turned out like I intended!!

I used the new set from Lawn Fawn called Flamingo Together!  Such a fun set to play with.  Once I go going, I couldn't stop creating this summer filled card with all of the summery colors, and images.  

I also wanted to create a shaker card.  The shaker portion is only at the bottom of the card - the sequins also represent the sand the flamingos are standing on :)  I used the Vertical Stitched Cover Up die from My Favorite Things as my frame, and the design also was perfect for how I wanted this shaker to look like :)

I used Distress Inks to create the background on my frame and the cut out pieces.  For my images, I colored them in with Copics, or I used Lawn Fawn Ink to stamp them out!

Mama Elephant's Pix's Favorites | Simple Copic Coloring

Happy Sunday - hope all of you had a nice weekend, and here in the states, hope all the mother's out there had a nice Mother's Day!!  Today I wanted to share my card using the adorable set from Mama Elephant called Pix's Favorites.  These bunnies are so adorable.  You can go wrong with any of them!!

I did some simple Copic Coloring - these images are very easy to color!  I also used the much loved Perfectly Plaid 6x6 papers from Lawn Fawn.  These plaid papers put a smile on my face!!
